Elin grew up in Anglesey, and in 2018 graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with 1st class honours in Design for Performance. She was a 2019 Linbury Prize Finalist, a recipient of the Royal Opera House Bursary for 2020, and is a RWCMD Honorary Associate.

Upcoming productions include The Flying Dutchman for Welsh National Opera (directed by Jack Furness), and a new remount of Sweeney Todd at Birmingham Rep (directed by Joe Murphy).
